the present moment

The block universe interpretation of special relativity holds that all moments in time — past, present, future — exist with equal reality. Time is a dimension, like space. What we call "now" is simply where we are in that block. The experience of flow, of a moving present, has no counterpart in the equations. Physics describes the block. It does not say why any of it feels like anything.
